Workshops

OCTOBER 20-21st, 2007
Andrew Linton taught an alternative firing workshop in Columbia, South Carolina for the Midlands Clay Art Society.
“As president of Midlands Clay Arts Society, I am eager to bring
professional development opportunities to our organization.  Our
membership is so diverse, that the task of finding someone who can
please everyone is almost impossible.  I just attended a two-day
workshop by Andrew Linton and quite frankly, one word says it, “WOW!”
He is enthusiastic, energetic, inspiring, talented, knowledgeable,
diverse, patient, humble and well prepared!  Both our throwers and
hand-builders learned as much in two days as we would have learned in one semester at the local university.   We had received our money’s worth by noon on the first day ... Andrew gave us 150%.   One of our members, John, wrote, ‘I agree the workshop was a good one. It was about all any one guy could squeeze into two days of instruction. And he is a nice fellow. ‘ If you are searching for a dynamic workshop for your group, one that will address the needs of a diverse crowd, Andrew Linton is it! “  ~ Sylvia Ady-Potts, president, MCAS
